Crystal Lake Robotics was created to further interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) within our community: McHenry County, Illinois. By developing STEM interests in our youth, we create opportunities for individuals and for organizations seeking to employ young, talented individuals with ties to the community.

How do you encourage students to develop their interests in STEM fields? Challenge them to a competition. Students design, build, and program robots to solve problems in a game challenge. Along the way they pick up business, public speaking, teamwork, and leadership skills.
